CPDConference.org is designed to facilitate Healthcare Professionals in the process of developing professional development activities. These provide an alternative to the usual constraints to lifelong learning, making CPD accessible and affordable to all.

CPDConference.org is able to provide technical support grants and funding for certain organisations, groups and individual educators in the development of computer based learning activities. Professional multi-media technology consultations and limited travel and expenses funding are available for UK applicants.

CPD projects and activities can now be displayed in an International forum and presented using many different methods. Video recordings, audio soundtracks and Internet style posters are utilised to create a truly multi-media conference facility.

The Audio & Video Learning Modules that are introduced in the CPD demonstration take the form of presentations sent to individuals or organisations on video or DVD. The modules are able to contain Reflective-Learning Elements, which developed with the authors' guidance will ask each participant to demonstrate a level of understanding and promote reflective practise and hopefully discussion with their fellow colleagues.

The Learning Modules are developed to satisfy the CPD requirements of the Health-Professions' Governing Bodies. An accredited Certificate of Learning is awarded on completion of each module for the individual to include in their CPD record. The presentations are designed to promote a critical and reflective approach to personal practice and the profession as a whole. All CPD activities on the CPDConference.org website are peer-reviewed.
