Before the
launch of CPDConference.org, publishers Kosmos Software Ltd. visited the UK's
Health Professions Council (HPC) to ensure our systems comply with its
standards. Kosmos were also the only IT publishers who attended the HPC's CPD
Standards Workshop. Kosmos continually takes guidance from numerous
professional and educational organisations for the development of this website
but CPDConference.org is neither directly linked nor controlled by these
organisations. The CPDConference.org resources and activities are peer-reviewed
by the Speciality & Professions Committee Members who are from a practical,
educational and industrial health background.
The
Conference Origins
CPDConference.org is based on an idea conceived by Conference Manager
Neil Spence, a state registered Radiographer, who has trained and worked in the
UK's National Health Service since 1995.
Unless otherwise
stated, the CPDConference.org webpages have been edited by Neil Spence and have
been subject to an independent review to consider the quality and relevance of
the information held there. CPDConference.org conforms to the Geneva University
Hospital's Health on the Net (HON) code for website contents and quality.
CPDConference.org also complies with all eight of the HON code
principles.
Sponsorship & Advertising Policy
The
Conference receives no funding from the Government or Professional bodies to
carry out this work. We are actively seeking appropriate sponsorship and
